Acrylic Mirror vs. Glass Mirror

Acrylic Mirrors
- more lightweight, therefore more shatter resistant
- safer for those who will be moving the piece around often
- not recommended to be placed in damp environments or environments with high humidity
- less scratch resistant, therefore harder to clean
- lesser reflective quality than glass mirrors, more prone to warping
- cheaper
- more weather resistant
- more scratch resistant, therefore easier to clean
- offers true and (close to) perfect reflection
- heavier, therefore more likely to shatter
- not as safe for those who will be moving the piece around often
- pricier
